Eufaula Pilgrimage, Eufaula.
       Beautiful historic homes, built in the days when "cotton was king", will be open to visitors during this nostalgic return to the Old South. Grand antebellum and Victorian mansions built by 19th century planters and merchants still house family heirlooms, the precious symbols of a bygone era. Most of the homes are private residences, open only during the annual Pilgrimage. There's also art and antiques shows.

Christmas City, Ariton.
       This seasonal attraction is open Thanksgiving Day through New Year's Eve. A three-and-one-half mile drive through a winter wonderland of more than three million lights depicting displays and animated scenes of the winter holiday season. Restaurants, unique craft and gift shops, a white chapel and nightly entertainment.

Rattlesnake Rodeo, Opp.
       Since 1959, the Opp Jaycees have attracted the attention of local and international visitors, as well as the media, with its annual Rattlesnake Rodeo. Last year, over 30,000 attended the event, which is held to raise funds for local charities.

Claybank Jamboree, Ozark.
       The Claybank Jamboree, named after the log-hewned Claybank Church built in 1852, is held on Ozark's Main Street. Visitors may browse for bargains among exquisite antiques, vintage furniture, handmade quilts, and other special keepsakes.

Festival on The River, Geneva.
       Features a parade, entertainment, arts and crafts, commericial displays, and a canoe race.

Natonal Peanut Festival, Dothan.
       Celebrate the harvest of the peanut crop in the "Peanut Capitol of the World"! The two-week celebration features arts and crafts exhibits, contests, beauty pageants, entertainment, and agricultural displays.

Piney Woods Arts Festival, Enterprise.
       Exhibitors from all parts of the United States participate in this annual April festival, which is held on the campus of Enterprise State Junior College. Exhibits include original paintings, photography, woodworking and stained glass.

Future Masters Golf Tournament, Dothan.
       Each summer, more than 600 of the top junior golfers in the world compete for the trophy and green jacket that are awarded to the winner of this tournament. This part of the Junior Grand Slam of Golf is hosted by the Dothan Country Club. Admission is free to the public.

World Championship Domino Tournament, Andalusia.
       Sponsored by the Andalusia Rotary Club, the tournament boasts over $20,000 in prize money. Both singles and doubles tournaments are held each year. There are also children and teen divisions.
